Before Covid-19 put a stop to world travel, I had been working regularly with the people in Laos. It began some 9 years ago when I decided to fulfill a childhood promise to myself; to one day return to help the country of my ancestors.

I started the label, ‘Hoi Sang Unique Lao jewelry’ that is designed, created and sold in-country with the mission to better the craftsmanship and livelihoods of a few families in Luang Prabang, Laos. Together we have grown to trust and care about each other. Our business was thriving.

But then Covid-19 hit. No need to say, this pandemic is hitting many quite hard but the hardest hit are the people in third world countries who rely on income from outside.

One of the main motives behind this online boutique is to be able to continue to ‘give work’ as well as ‘give back’ to the many in need in Laos!

This boutique line, ‘Give Back’ presented here together with my other jewelry collections will be a little help towards giving people a little stability in Laos. I hope that with your help I can continue to ‘give back’ despite the world wide difficulties.
